With tumbling becoming a common feature in dance routines and solos, skills like aerials and back handsprings are more in demand than ever. However, these skills aren’t typically developed in dance studios. That’s why we’ve created this Beginner/Intermediate Acro Class at Rachel’s House of Cheer, specifically for dancers who want to build the strength, flexibility,and technique needed for these elements. We focus on foundational drills and movements to prepare dancers for skills such as:
tripods, headstands, elbow stands, chin stands, and handstands, along with tumbling elements like rolls, cartwheels, walkovers, headsprings,front and back handsprings, and aerials.
We also incorporate leaps, jumps, and stretches to enhance coordination and confidence. This class offers the perfect blend of strength, flexibility, tumbling, and drills to take their performance to the next level.
